The Nomadic Book Club

Have you ever had so many books that you just couldn't get through them all, without buying 5 or 6 more in the meantime? Yup. I'm a serial book-buyer, I browse shelves even though I know my TBR (to be read) list is probably longer than the one of all the books I've actually completed. I'll pick up a book because I like the titles, I like the cover, I like the author. I'll buy it because it was in the charity shop, 10 for £1 - just can't say no, right?

But what do you do with them when you have read them? Sit, collect, never to re-read again?

That's where The Nomadic Book Club comes in.

Let's get together and read. Let's share the books we've loved, those that've spurred something inside us whether it's tears or laughter. Let's breathe new life into those forgotten pages. Let's pass them on to friends, family, strangers.

The Nomadic Book Club aims to bring together those who love to read, while always on the go. It's a bookclub you can join, no matter where or when you are free.

If you've stumbled across a book from The Nomadic Book Club:
 * Feel free to read the book!
 * If you'd like, update your progress or share your find with us using the hashtag #TheNomadicBookclub
 * Share the book once you're finished

I would ask that, if you don't have a friend/person to pass the book on to, either return it to me or use the above hashtag on Twitter to try and find someone else who might like it!

The project is comprised of a handful of books from my personal library, that I have read and felt the need to pass on and share with others. Each book includes a little tag for the project inside, along with contact details and a link to this page. I will be adding books all the time, I think it will be a great way to not only share our stories but to give new life to used and forgotten books.

To request a book, feel free to drop me an email at - I currently have a list of books and genres available. Or I can send one out completely at random so you don't know what you're in for!

If you'd like to add a book yourself, please do feel free to get in touch with me as I'd love to have you on board.

Happy reading, my Wilde souls,
